Our Experience
Our lawyers are qualified to practice within Northern Ireland, England & Wales, and the Republic of Ireland. We have advised on significant regional and national inquiries including public inquiries, inquests and investigations. Examples include:
- Appointed by the Muckamore Abbey Hospital Inquiry (MAHI) to compile sensitive witness evidence for the public inquiry.
- Appointed by The Executive Office, on behalf of the Truth Recovery Independent Panel, to advise on legal issues specific to the Independent Panel’s investigation. The establishment of the Independent Panel, was a key recommendation of the Truth Recovery Design Panels’ report on Mother and Baby Institutions, Magdalene Laundries and Workhouses in Northern Ireland
- Represent the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland in respect of statutory appeals, judicial review applications, interim order extension applications in the High Court and all fitness to practice matters
- Represented various other UK medical regulators in respect of statutory appeals, judicial review applications and interim order extension applications in the High Court
- We act for a number of defendants in regard to corporate manslaughter and/or serious health & safety prosecution cases
