Tiarnán McKenna has been appointed as an Associate in the Corporate department at Cleaver Fulton Rankin.
Tiarnán studied Law at Queen’s University Belfast before completing his Master’s Degree in International Business Law, also at QUB. Tiarnán obtained his Post Graduate Diploma from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in 2020.
Tiarnán trained locally in Belfast before spending the next 5 years working for both national and international law firms. He advises on all aspects of corporate law including high value mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, corporate governance and general shareholder arrangements. Tiarnán has a particular specialism in the energy sector, advising clients on the sale and purchase of operational energy projects as well as the rights to construct these.
Tiarnán works with a broad spectrum of clients ranging from start-ups to large multinational companies. He also has experience advising investment funds, public sector bodies and family owned businesses.
Tiarnán holds practising certificates in both Northern Ireland and England and Wales.
