Shannon studied Law at Queens University in Belfast where she graduated in June 2018, before obtaining her Certificate of Professional Legal Studies, with Distinction, in June 2020. Shannon completed her training contract with Cleaver Fulton Rankin.

Shannon is a Senior Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution Department. Shannon has experience advising both private and commercial clients. Shannon has experience advising on a range of commercial disputes including debt recovery, professional negligence, construction law and contractual disputes. Shannon also has experience assisting with regulatory and public law issues, advising public sector bodies, to include fitness to practise issues. Shannon also has experience in alternative dispute resolution such as mediation, arbitration and adjudication.

Whilst studying at Queens University, Shannon won the Queens University Belfast Mediation and Negotiation Competition and went on to compete in the International Chamber of Commerce Mediation Competition in Paris in 2018, winning a Special Award for interaction with the mediator.
