Ross Gallagher is a Solicitor in the Banking and Finance department at Cleaver Fulton Rankin.
Ross graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a degree in Common and Civil Law with Hispanic Studies. He then gained his Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies. Following his Qualification, Ross was appointed to the firms Banking & Finance Department
Expertise
As part of the Banking & Finance team, Ross acts for banks, financial bodies and borrowers. He advises on a range of matters including property finance, corporate finance and asset based lending.
Ross is currently seconded to the System Operator for Northern Ireland (SONI), where he supports the in‑house legal team in managing Northern Ireland’s electricity grid. This role provides him with valuable exposure to regulatory, energy and commercial law.
Ross was named as a finalist for LawNet’s ‘Early Career Lawyer of the Year’ award 2025.
