Rachael studied Law with Politics at Queen’s University in Belfast where she graduated in June 2011, before obtaining her Certificate of Professional Legal Studies, with Distinction, in June 2015.

Upon qualification, Rachael joined the Dispute Resolution department, where in addition to general commercial litigation, her main focuses are on contentious trusts and probate litigation, commercial property litigation, debt recovery, professional negligence and intellectual property law. Rachael has obtained her Advanced Certificate in the Administration of Trusts and is a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners. Rachael is a Certified Member of The Mediator’s Institute of Ireland.

Rachael has been a representative of the Northern Ireland Young Solicitors’ Association since 2014 and held the position of Treasurer for the 2016 and 2017 Committee. Rachael was appointed Chair of the Northern Ireland Young Solicitors’ Association in 2018.

Rachael was delighted to have won the Lawnet Young Lawyer of the Year award for 2017/2018, with entries from across the United Kingdom. Rachael was recognised as an “exceptional” lawyer for her legal skills, business and practice development, personal skills and key achievements and results, demonstrating her commitment to excellence, high level of client care and commitment to the firm.
