Helen is a Senior Solicitor in the Planning & Environment Department. Helen advises on all aspects of Planning and Environmental law including a range of regulatory and enforcement matters.

Helen provides specialist planning advice to both public and private sector clients, including international businesses and local public law bodies.

Helen has advised on a range of local and major planning applications in Northern Ireland in the areas of mining, construction and infrastructure. Helen also regularly advises on planning issues arising in commercial development projects.

In addition, Helen has substantial experience of County Court and High Court procedure and has expertise in a number of niche areas including Judicial Review Proceedings, Procurement Litigation and Construction Disputes.

Helen completed her Law Degree at Queen’s University, Belfast and qualified as a Solicitor in Northern Ireland following completion of her Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Studies at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies. In recognition of her performance, Helen was awarded the prestigious McIvor Farrell Prize for Negotiation by the Institute of Professional Legal Studies and the Professional Conduct Prize by the Law Society of Northern Ireland.

Helen is qualified to practise in Northern Ireland.
