Cleaver Fulton Rankin Partners with Ulster University to Support Apprenticeship Talent

Cleaver Fulton Rankin has partnered with Ulster University to support its four year apprenticeship route programme.

Through this initiative, the firm is delighted to have welcomed emerging talent, Cara McCutcheon, into its Finance & Accounts team. Cara is currently undertaking a Higher-Level Apprenticeship in Accounting with Management, balancing her studies with four days per week working at Cleaver Fulton Rankin. As part of the programme, the firm provides Cara with dedicated one to one mentorship, including monthly meetings to review her academic progress and development within the business.

Reflecting on her experience to date, Cara said:

“The course has already provided a strong foundation in accounting principles, alongside key management and business skills, which I am able to apply directly to my role within the firm. Balancing work and study has been manageable, as I really enjoy the structure it brings. Having a 1-1 mentor within the firm has also been a great support and has been extremely helpful as I continue to grow both professionally and academically.”

“We are delighted to be partnering with Ulster University to support their apprenticeship route. Through this initiative, we have welcomed fantastic emerging talent into our Finance & Accounts team in the form of Cara.

We have greatly benefited from Cara’s strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and commitment to learning. In return, we hope to provide her with the tools, support, and hands on experience needed to thrive in her role, while helping her gain practical insight that enhances her academic learning throughout her degree.”
