Cleaver Fulton Rankin nominated in four NI Dealmakers Awards categories

Cleaver Fulton Rankin has received four nominations in the Insider Northern Ireland Dealmakers Awards 2020. The firm is delighted to have been shortlisted for Corporate Law Firm of the Year, twice for Deal of the Year (£2.5-10m) and in the Bank Funded Deal of the Year category.

The four nominations demonstrate another landmark year for Cleaver Fulton Rankin, advising on some of Northern Ireland’s most significant transactions.

Shortlisted for the acquisition of Harland & Wolff Heavy Industries on behalf of London based energy firm, InfraStrata, Head of Real Estate, Joe Marley, commented:

A second nomination in the Deal of the Year (£2.5-10m) category came from Millicent Pharma’s acquisition of the business and assets associated with the manufacture of Femring from Teva. Millicent Pharma, backed by Carlyle Capital, is building a global end-to-end pharmaceutical group through the acquisition and development of pharmaceutical products. This was the first of many proposed acquisitions by Millicent Pharma and is a clear demonstration of Cleaver Fulton Rankin’s expertise in the life sciences sector and its ability to advise ambitious companies on a clear growth trajectory.

Also nominated for Corporate Law Firm of the Year and Bank Funded Deal of the Year for AIB’s financing of the acquisition of Silverwood Business Park, Hilary Griffith, Head of the Corporate & Commercial team at Cleaver Fulton Rankin commented:
