Cleaver Fulton Rankin has achieved the Cyber Essentials Plus certification, a government-backed scheme that enables businesses to protect themselves and their clients from a wide variety of common cyber-attacks.

The Cyber Essentials scheme outlines a set of basic technical controls that organisations should implement in order to defend themselves against online security threats. Since 1 October 2014, the UK Government has required all suppliers bidding for contracts involving the handling of certain sensitive and personal information to be certified by the Cyber Essentials scheme.

Having previously gained the Cyber Essentials certification, Cleaver Fulton Rankin have taken the next step and achieved Cyber Essentials Plus, which requires a hands-on technical verification to be carried out.

“This accreditation demonstrates how seriously we take our commitment to ensuring that our client’s data is secure and protected” comments Jonathan Forrester, Managing Director at Cleaver Fulton Rankin.

The Cyber Essentials Certification offers peace of mind to firms and their clients by confirming that they have sufficient technical controls in place to defend against a vast array of potential cyber-attacks.

Cleaver Fulton Rankin’s achievement of this prestigious accolade demonstrates our ongoing commitment to cyber security and safeguarding our clients’ data.
