Receptionist

We are currently looking for a front of house Receptionist to join our team. This is an important role, serving as the first point of contact for visitors and clients. As part of the reception team, you will be the front-desk representation for the business performing a range of duties and tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the reception function and a first-class visitor experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors professionally, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Handle a high-volume switchboard and direct calls promptly and accurately
  • Manage meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared for client meetings.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Maintain the reception area to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation.
  • Provide administrative support to legal and support staff as required.
  • Monitor and order office supplies for the front of house.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Providing general administrative support to keep front-of-house running efficiently

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role within a professional services, legal or hospitality environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience of working with a switchboard

Schedule

Monday to Friday – 8.45 am – 5.15 pm

Part time hours may be considered
